About ChurchCompass
ChurchCompass helps new Christians and people moving to a new town find a church near them. Each profile puts the church’s own words (its About and What We Believe pages) next to service times, what to expect on a first visit, and a short set of draft ratings, so you can understand a church in a few minutes before you visit.

Where the information comes from
Every fact is checked against the church’s own website, plus denominational and local directories, OpenStreetMap and the US Census geocoder for addresses and map locations. A few basic listings also use local news listings (the Delco Times), cited and linked next to each fact. Each profile lists its sources and the date they were checked. Quotes are kept short and link back to the church’s page.

Ratings are draft assessments based only on public information. They are not endorsements. Read how ratings work.
Run a church?
You can claim your church’s profile to correct or update your text, or report an error. If you would prefer not to be listed, tell us using the same form.
Coverage
ChurchCompass lists 130 churches with full profiles and 71 basic listings so far. Looking somewhere else? Ask us to add your area. We add new areas based on where people look.
